Both during and after cooking, it is important to use protective accessories. While cooking, you can use the Fire Guard Ring to prevent getting hurt by touching the hot cooking plate. It adds an extra edge to the OFYR, which can be used as a placeholder for small plates or tools. Although outdoor cooking is an activity for all four seasons, you might need to store away your OFYR cooking unit from time to time. For those occasions, we have created special accessories to protect your OFYR from outside influences. Keep in mind that using these accessories does not mean you will need to do some maintenance as well: keep oiling your OFYR frequently to prevent rusting.
The Snuffer is the ideal tool to safely extinguish your OFYR after use. It only covers the fire pit, so it does not damage the cooking plate. If you are looking for full coverage, the Soft Cover is the perfect solution. This cover can be put over the Snuffer and is waterproof, properly protecting the OFYR from outside influences.
There is also a complete Cover available, which covers both the cooking plate and fire pit at once. This cover is made of black coated steel and has a mahogany knob, so you can easily lift it of the OFYR. It is ideal for when your OFYR is stored away, as rain simply slides off the sides of the cone. This cover is available for the 85 and 100 cooking units.
